This program is designed to work as a stand-alone book discussion or to prepare you for the Adult School's March 6th trip, "Personal Librarian Exhibition and Cafe Lunch at the Morgan Library." The book is a New York Times best seller based on the true story of Belle da Costa Greene, J.P. Morgan's personal librarian, who was forced to hide her Black identity in order to become one of the most powerful women in New York at the turn of the 20th century. Our discussion leader is Anastasia Rubis, author of the recent biographical novel "Oriana."
The library has the book available to borrow in print, e-book and e-audiobook on Libby/OverDrive.
