V.C. Andrews: Exploring the Dollanganger Series NEW

When V.C. Andrews first published Flowers in the Attic in 1979, it was an instant success and has remained a cult classic. It was followed by four further novels that created their own genre that mixed gothic, family saga and Young Adult. This course will explore various elements of the first five books of the Dollanganger Saga: Flowers in the Attic, Petals on the Wind, If There Be Thorns, Seeds of Yesterday and Garden of Shadows. It is helpful if students read the novels before class.
