Following an introductory Zoom orientation, we will walk in four three-hour sessions, visiting different sites each week to witness the southbound migration of birds from as far away as Alaska and the Russian Far East. Vireos, warblers, and tanagers are among the species likely to be seen in September, while waterfowl and raptors usually increase in number and diversity in October. Our destinations will be set shortly before each excursion, the choice determined by recent reports of concentrations of migrant birds.
