Needle Felting for Beginners

Needle felting is a process originally developed for making industrial felt in the mid-19th century, as part of the industrial revolution in Germany and England. Only in the past few decades has needle felting gained recognition as a craft. It is a process that uses barbed needles to move in and out of wool repeatedly, interlocking the fiber together and forming a firm and dense material. You can sculpt the wool into any desired shape and connect different pieces together using the felting needle. No glue or sewing is needed.
