ClassGraphic This brief introduction to apiculture will highlight the role of the honeybee in society and farming while providing an overview of the honeybee colony. We will discuss how to start with bees, seasonal hive management, nectar flow and the harvesting of hive products (honey, beeswax, propolis). We will also talk about beekeeping tools, equipment, and protective gear.
