Botanical Drawing Workshop - Pumpkins and Gourds NEW

Decorative gourds and pumpkins offer a chance to celebrate the harvest, while capturing their wonderful colors and textures. Bring a decorative gourd (no larger than 6 inches long), or pumpkin (mini variety), to draw from. We will use a combination of regular colored pencils with watercolor colored pencils to learn the basics in, proportion, form, tone, and value. Techniques for color matching, and blending to create subtle color variations will also be covered.  Open to all levels.  Art supplies must be purchased in advance of this workshop.

For new students: $5.25 (cash only) to defray the cost of a sheet
of Dura-Lar film.

For students who have previously taken a colored pencils class at the Adult School: Do an inventory of your art supplies against the list of art supplies required for this class!
