Learn the mechanics of producing socks and mittens on double-pointed needles utilizing patterns for baby sized garments. The skills you will learn can be generalized to adult sized patterns. Students should be proficient in knitting, purling, increasing and decreasing. Experience with knitting in the round is helpful but not necessary.

Please read:  Materials cost: approx. $15. Students must bring the following to the first class: 1 skein of DK weight (number 3) yarn, and one set of double-point needles size US 5 or US 6. Wooden needles are recommended but not required. Students must be proficient in basic knitting.
