Learn basic fresh flower arranging.  Whether you're a gardener or just enjoy having fresh flowers around, learning about flower arranging can help you make truly beautiful floral arrangements that will amaze your friends and family.  You'll learn the principles of floral design using store-bought bouquets, as well as what is needed in an arrangement to make it look balanced and independent.  You'll discover techniques, i.e. proportion, scale, composition, repetitiion rhythm and more.  At the end of each class, students will have the opportunity to build a digital portfolio by photographig their work.  The first class will be a demonstration only with a discussion of needed supplies for the remaining classes.  Floral clippers and aprons will be provided for use in class. An optional floral tool kit will be available for purchase from the instructor.
