An Introduction to Python NEW

ID : 46168
« back to classes page
Python is a relatively new computer language that has become the "Swiss Army knife" of computing in many fields, such as finance,
biology, mathematics, physics, astronomy, 'digital humanities', robotics, natural language processing, web, cloud computing, and
artificial intelligence, just to name a few.
Python pulls together many of the best ideas from computer science and other computer languages.  Python is elegant, interactive,  easy to learn, fun to play with, open source, and completely free. A simple download will install it on your computer. Class will demonstrate and explain some of Python's basic capabilities, and show some applications.
For those who wish to know more, an annotated list of online resources, including downloads, documentation, tutorials, and classes will be available.
