Feminism - There are few more controversial words in today's social/political climate.  And dozens of women in public life - in media, entertainment, business, and politics - have insisted they are not feminists.  Yet what does the term "feminist" really mean?  In this class, we'll explore and discuss the many varieties of feminism within its three main branches:  liberal, cultural, and progressive.  We'll also look at the ways in which specific types of feminism are evident in social/political discourse and activism today.
