Using AI as a thinking partner—not a replacement for expertise

Designed for experienced professionals who want to understand and responsibly integrate AI into their work, this 90-minute workshop introduces the core features of Google Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude. Participants will explore Gemini’s GEMs and image generation capabilities, as well as Claude’s artifacts and strengths in analyzing and generating longer-form content.

The session includes practical guidance on effective prompting frameworks, multimodal workflows, and the everyday language of AI. Real-world use cases will be discussed to help participants apply AI as a strategic collaborator while maintaining their own voice and expertise.

Participants should bring a laptop or tablet and be logged into the free versions of Gemini and Claude before class. Handouts will be provided.
