Introduction to Eastern Brush Calligraphy NEW

In this class, students will immerse themselves in the beautiful art form of eastern calligraphy, art of brush, to enhance the understanding of Chinese/Japanese characters and their meaning.  Students will learn the basic skills of 'art of brush' by learning three writing skills (regular script, running script, and cursive script). The course will include the basic explanation of Eastern calligraphy and period of writing practice.

This program is part of the library's commemoration of AAPI Heritage Month.
