"Shattered Stars": A Multimedia Presentation for Holocaust Remembrance Day NEW

Come join us to commemorate Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) with Irene Stern Frielich, author of the award-winning "Shattered Stars, Healing Hearts: Unraveling My Father's Holocaust Survival Story." Her multimedia presentation, Shattered Stars: The Power of Courage, Compassion, and Kindness, includes videotaped interviews with her late father, Walter Stern, a "hidden Jew" like Anne Frank. Eighty years later, Frielich traced her father's escape route, searching for the descendants of his protectors...with astonishing results. Montclair's own Deb Levy, author of "Bury the Hot: A True Story," will talk to Frielich and moderate the Q&A.
