ClassGraphic A two-part lecture/discussion and hands on workshop. We will explore the surprising multicultural Sicilian roots of the sonnet form, in the Palermo court of Frederick II Holy Roman Emperor ("wonder of the world"). Then (in honor also of Shakespeare's birthday!) we will write our own sonnets, with step by step support for those who would like it!
