Mindfulness is meditation prac
tice that cultivates positive state of mind like gratitude, kindness and compassion. We will cover techniques for feeling more connected to our bodies and emotional states. Support will be given for developing a daily sitting practice. This meditation technique can be quite helpful with reduction of stress and emotion regulation. We will cover the following topics: mindful breathing/body, mindful emotions, development of the heart, interpersonal mindfulness, everyday stress reduction and empathy.
