CourseGraphic In this new lecture Tom Silver will explore the work of Japan’s most famous artist, Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849), in the context of his life and times. We will look at a broad range of Hokusai’s art - including drawings, prints and paintings. Immediately following the lecture Helen Silver will demonstrate how classical Japanese prints were made.
