ClassGraphic Gregory Walker, son of Montclair resident, George T. Walker (1922-2018), and professional concert violinist in his own right, will talk about his father's musical works, and perform of some of his father's range of musical composition.
George T. Walker was the first African-American to be awarded the Pulitzer Prize in music composition, and wrote for the top orchestras and performers around the US and the world. His music will inspire the March 10th concert of the Montclair Orchestra at Central Presbyterian Church, Montclair.
