ID : 45534
« back to classes page
ClassGraphic After the invention of simple point-and-shoot cameras, followed by cellphone cameras, everyone became a photographer. However, at the same time, our society treats the act of picture-taking with a degree of anxiety and suspicion. The lecture looks at different depictions of the photographer in Western culture from the 19th century to the modern times, and tries to answer the question: Is the Photographer our Friend or Foe? All materials will be provided.
