Louis Armstrong, the world's most famous jazz musician, was an international celebrity who could have lived anywhere but chose a modest house in Corona, Queens. On a guided tour of his home which remains as it was during his lifetime, view "Satchmo's" stuff, highlights of his personal memorabilia and enjoy the Japanese inspired garden. After lunch at a local eatery (included), tour the Museum of the Moving Image, America's only museum dedicated to the art, history and technology of film and television. Situated on the site of the renovated Astoria Studio, a 1920s Paramount Pictures facility, the museum maintains a large permanent collection of moving-image artifacts.
