« back to classes page
This presentation will explore how media framing of health care, coupled with presidential rhetoric, drives public opinion toward the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The presentation will trace central media themes surrounding the initial 2009 ACA proposal by former President Obama to recent media accounts of  Trump administration attempts at repeal. Within this analysis, public support for ACA (or lack thereof) will be examined as an outcome of both media and administration messaging.
