We'll then discuss improvisation and the great innovators ...Duke Ellington, Lester Young, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis and more. And finally we'll discuss how jazz has changed to adapt to the changes in American society. We'll be listening and discussing our way thru the history of this innovative American music.
