ID : 43956
« back to classes page
ClassGraphic In this class, participants will be introduced to three important women political thinkers:  the classical conservative, Christine di Pisan (15th century); the liberal, Mary Wollstonecraft (18th century), and the progressive, Luisa Capetillo (early 20th century).  Each of them were significant figures in their time and social/historical contexts.  Perhaps more importantly, we can see evidence of their influence on the 'genealogy' of women's political thought and thus on women's political involvement today.
